Substitute Paraeducators assist classroom teachers to provide a well-organized, smooth functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. To be included on the District's Substitute Paraeducator list, documentation for highly qualified status must be on file. Documentation may include a copy of a degree (Associates or higher), a copy of transcripts with 48 hours or more earned credit or a copy of successful completion of the Work Keys tests for a Gold certificate.
