- Work as a team member with building and grounds staff to manage operations
- Manage staff scheduling for district programming and community use of facilities.
- Participates in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and evaluating employees
- Provides orientation and mentoring of new employees
- Ensures training is complete
- Assist in managing the security cameras
- Communicates with staff to problem solve and communicate appropriate solutions
- Create, analyzes, and presents reports and recommendations on building and grounds operations
- Review maintenance/custodial staff timecards for overtime.
- Manage time off and track comp time records for building and grounds staff
- Maintain security card access and security codes for district employees
- Collaborate with other departments and participate in training to improve practices
- Works in collaboration with admin operations to support employees
- Provide support for Health & Safety
- Flexibility to adapt work schedule as needed to support building and grounds operations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Education/Certification/Licensure Requirement:
- Associates degree
- Strong public relations skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Proficient in desktop publishing skills, Google Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven customer relations skills
- Must have the ability and proven record of reporting to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Operate computer, printer, photocopy machine, fax machine, and other electronic or technological equipment required for the specific position
- Proficient in various software systems; Eleyo, Google Drive, Google Office Suite, Google Meet, Eleyo, Skyward Financial Management
- Proficient in phone system
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Repetitive motion keyboarding activities
- Ability to travel between District 197 School buildings and departments
- Work is performed in an office setting

Job Summary: Provide support to the Operations administrators, staff. This position supports in managing the day-to-day operations for ten facilities, maintaining security card access for district employees, security codes for administrators, and managing security cameras.
