Milton School District is seeking a collaborative and strategic Director of Finance and Business Operations to oversee the district’s financial systems and operational services. This leadership position is responsible for budgeting, financial planning, payroll, human resources, transportation, food services, risk management, and other non-instructional operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support transparent and effective school district operations in a student-centered environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, School Business Management, or related field is required.
· NH School Business Administrator Certification eligibility is required.
· Experience in school finance, municipal finance, or public-sector operations is strongly preferred.
· Strong background in budgeting, accounting, payroll, and human resources is strongly preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
