Omaha Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician

You will join a small team of experienced technicians in our valve department to assemble, test, and calibrate a variety of industrial valves. Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician Responsibilities

• Precision Assembly: Assemble valve automation packages using hand and power tools according to manufacturer specifications.
• Technical Calibration: Test and calibrate industrial valves to ensure high performance and safety standards as a Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician.
• Collaborative Troubleshooting: Partner with sales personnel to troubleshoot valve installations and repairs for commercial and industrial customers.
• Equipment Operation: Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move, stock, and stage heavy inventory.
• Warehouse Support: Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including unloading and stocking inventory, picking orders, and staging deliveries.
• Documentation: Maintain high standards of neatness and meticulous attention to detail during the assembly and testing process.
  
  

Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician Requirements

• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong natural ability to repair or build machines; professional assembly or repair experience is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic components is essential for a Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience using common hand and power tools in a shop or industrial environment.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in a physically demanding role.
• Teamwork: Experience working in a collaborative team environment with a focus on shared success and growth.
