Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on construction site management with strategic project leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil and commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with advanced project management software tools. Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling software; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
• Oversee construction safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes to maintain a safe work environment.
• Review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and specifications; ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office to track project milestones, costs, documentation, and communication.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple departments to ensure seamless project delivery while managing costs effectively through accurate estimating and budget management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to all construction regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, including schedules, budgets, safety incidents, and quality control measures for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong track record of managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and project management software like ProCore or Prolog.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans review.
• Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies.
• Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously through effective time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with specialized software including Civil 3D for civil design coordination.
• Valid experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects with a focus on quality control and schedule adherence.
