Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
· Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
· Complete repairs and parts replacements.
· Repair, adjust, or maintain machines.
· Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
· Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches.
· Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
· 2 years’ experience in the maintenance field
· Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
· Basic understanding of electrical systems
· Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Automotive and diesel maintenance experience will be considered
·MUST be flexible to work ANY shift and weekends.
Pay Rate depends on experience from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
