Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide outstanding basic nursing care to our residents on our day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) while working under the guidance of our licensed nurse supervisors.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty
- Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
- Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding
- Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment
- Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space
- CNA license in the state of Missouri
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Basic reading and writing skills
- CPR/BLS Certification
