Vice President, Sales & Events

Location: Reno, NV


Overview

We are seeking a high-impact VP of Sales & Events to lead revenue strategy and execution across a large-scale hospitality and catering operation. This role oversees all sales and event functions within a high-volume, resort environment, driving top-line growth, market expansion, and team performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Sales & Events (Catering) strategy and execution
  • Drive revenue across group, corporate, and large-scale event business
  • Develop and implement regional and national sales initiatives
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales organization
  • Manage pipeline development, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Partner with executive leadership on property-wide revenue strategy and planning


Qualifications

  • 7 years of senior sales leadership in hotel, resort, or hospitality environments
  • Experience in large-scale properties preferred
  • Strong network of corporate, group, and event contacts/clients
  • Gaming or casino resort experience preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive significant revenue growth
  • Executive presence with strong client-facing and negotiation skills

Salary : $200,000
