Scandia Cabinets is an award-winning cabinet manufacturer located in Brooklyn Park, MN. We have been proudly crafting custom cabinets since 1990.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Painter to join our team! The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, be committed to producing high-quality work, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and filling holes or cracks.
- Spray large amounts of dovetail drawer boxes
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed, such as moving materials or cleaning work areas
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role (1-2 years required)
- Familiarity with painting, staining, and taping
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to read & follow instructions
- Detail-oriented and great communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work mandatory overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22-25 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
- 40 hours a week
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime when required
- Monday – Thursday: 6am – 2:30pm
- Friday: 6am – 11am
