We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker/Cabinet Assembler to join our growing team! Scandia Cabinets is an award-winning custom cabinet manufacturer located in Brooklyn Park, MN. We have been proudly crafting custom cabinets since 1990. The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of experience in a cabinet making or similar role.
Cabinet Maker/Cabinet Assembler Responsibilities:
- Read CAD drawing
- Communicate with shop foreman or production manager daily
- Preform other shop duties as requested
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Construct and assemble cabinetry
- Work with all aspects of custom cabinets
- Conscious of shop & employee safety and OSHA standards
Cabinet Maker/Cabinet Assembler Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of cabinetry/cabinet making required
- Extensive knowledge of wood working, finishing, trim & edge-banding
- Ability to read CAD drawings
- Basic math skills & ability to read tape measurements and fractions
- Problem solver, punctual & hardworking
- Ability to operate machinery
- Detail oriented & self-motivated
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Understanding of deadlines
- Great communication skills
- High quality standards
- Knowledge and proper use of hand tools and power equipment (1-2 years required)
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
Pay: $23 - $26 based on experience
Supplemental Pay: Quarterly bonus opportunities based on performance
Schedule: 40 hours a week
Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2:30pm Friday: 6am -11am
