Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end close process, including reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses for key operating entities
- Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statement packages in accordance with US GAAP guidelines
- Maintain and optimize the internal control environment, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404 requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits, quarterly reviews, and support the resolution of complex accounting treatments
- Evaluate and implement accounting software integrations and automation tools (such as NetSuite, FloQast, or BlackLine) to scale financial operations
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide insights that support strategic corporate decision-making
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate technology industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
- Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX internal control frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and data reconciliation tools
- Bonus: Experience managing the implementation of automated close tools, or navigating ASC 606 revenue recognition standards in a SaaS or transactional business model
