What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Picker/Forklift Operator position at SC2?
Picks material according to daily schedule and delivers to appropriate location. Ensures inventory is accurately separated, organized and rotated. Identifies, records, and communicates non-conformances with material or processes and recommends solutions. Reads daily schedule or PWO to identify material needing to be picked and transports material to designated area, including moving paint inventory from paint rooms to specific locations. Must have good vision, reading, and math skills, ability to problem solve and excellent attendance.

SC2 is looking for positive team players to join our warehouse department as full-time warehouse associates at our Waco, TX location. Strong skills in shipping/receiving and packing is preferred. Warehouse associates will perform day-to-day operations in the warehouse and is responsible for production and distribution of all aspects of materials (receiving, picking, packing, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Receives incoming materials, opens boxes & crates, and other containers to inspect all incoming material and equipment purchases verifying all items are received and is in good condition.
- Gather all material to make sure parts are properly being packaged
- Move products and physically demanding material by hand
- Process materials using warehouse inventory software and scanners
- Assures shipping weights & dimensions are accurate on all records.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Attendance is essential
- Males must be able to regularly lift up to 75lbs and females 50 lbs pounds
- Ability to be on your feet 8/10 hours
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Mandatory Overtime
- Must pass Background Check
Job Type: Full-time
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Preferred experience:
- Prior warehouse/production experience
- 0-1 year of general work experience
