Seeking a Technical Product Owner to join a high-visibility modernization effort already underway. This role sits at the center of a large-scale enterprise application refactor -- specifically, the rebuild of a Time Reporting Information System (TRIS) that spans Time Entry, Payroll Administration, and Nuclear Regulatory Fatigue Management (NRCFM).
You'll be working across a modern AWS-based architecture with an Angular front end, C#/.NET services, PostgreSQL data design, and Power BI reporting -- guiding the program through testing, deployment, and hyper-care. The impact here is real: this system touches co-workers across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar technical leadership role
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture
- Proficiency with Angular (front end) and C#/.NET (back end services)
- Strong SQL skills, with PostgreSQL experience preferred
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Demonstrated ability to work across both technical and business teams
- Experience managing backlog and driving delivery in an Agile environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Change Management practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale application modernization or refactor efforts
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting/visualization tools
- Experience defining post-go-live support models or operational runbooks
- Background in utility, energy, or regulated industries
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe certification
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for the TRIS modernization program through testing, deployment, and post-launch hyper-care
- Serve as primary point of contact for boundary application teams, coordinating changes, upgrades, and cross-system impacts
- Partner with enterprise architects, technical leads, business analysts, project managers, and delivery teams to keep the program moving
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize enhancements, and translate business needs into actionable delivery outcomes
- Provide direction across AWS architecture, Angular, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable for long-term support
- Balance priorities across technical and business stakeholders, keeping both aligned throughout delivery
