SBS Creatix is hiring a Senior BI Engineer – Platform Admin
We're looking for an experienced BI platform administrator to support and optimize enterprise business intelligence and analytics environments. This is a highly visible role that combines platform administration, performance tuning, technical support, and analytics enablement.
What You'll Do
- Administer and support enterprise BI and reporting platforms across production and non-production environments
- Monitor and maintain platform stability, availability, and performance
- Perform SQL optimization, system tuning, backups, upgrades, and patching
- Manage BI platform security — user access, license administration, and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and performance issues
- Partner with developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders to support analytics initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation and support procedures
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 5 years supporting BI, analytics, or reporting platforms
- Hands-on expertise with Power BI and OBIEE/OAC
- Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning and platform maintenance
- Solid understanding of BI security, access management, and compliance
- Strong communication skills — comfortable working with both technical and business audiences
