Job Title: Store Manager

A luxury resort wear brand, is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead the operations of our experiential retail space in Palm Beach, FL. Specializing in women’s clothing, our store also offers thoughtfully curated categories including men’s, kids', and home. We're looking for a candidate with deep connections in the Palm Beach community, a strong sales background, and a keen understanding of managing a distinctive retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

STORE OPERATIONS & SALES

• Lead all day-to-day store operations, ensuring the store is organized, efficient, and consistently operating to the highest brand standards.
• Take ownership of store sales, proactively driving revenue and ensuring all sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives are met.
• Lead from the sales floor and set the standard for exceptional, personalized customer service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, with a particular focus on building a loyal local client base.
• Drive clienteling and CRM initiatives, including outreach, follow-up, appointment setting, special orders, and personalized recommendations.
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports and take action to maximize opportunities and address areas of improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators including sales, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, client retention, and individual team performance.
• Maintain all visual merchandising standards and ensure the store consistently reflects the brand aesthetic.
• Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, transfers, replenishment, stock organization, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product opportunities, customer feedback, and selling trends to the appropriate teams.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed, including cash handling, opening and closing procedures, security, and loss prevention.
• Manage store expenses and operate within established budgets.
  
  

TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT

• Lead the team from the front by being highly visible, engaged, and present on the sales floor.
• Create a positive, collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
• Coach and motivate team members to achieve individual and store sales goals through regular one-on-one coaching and performance conversations with team members.
• Provide ongoing sales, product knowledge, clienteling, and customer service training.
• Manage employee performance in partnership with company leadership and HR, including documentation and corrective action when necessary.
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing new team members and take ownership of the onboarding and training process.
• Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules in accordance with business needs, sales goals, and payroll budgets.
  
  

COMMUNICATION

• Maintain clear, consistent, and organized communication with the store team and corporate leadership.
• Keep yourself and the team informed of all brand, product, operational, and company communications.
• Complete all required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting accurately and on time.
• Communicate store performance, customer feedback, product needs, staffing concerns, and operational issues to the appropriate members of the leadership team.
• Participate in retail management meetings and contribute insights and recommendations based on store performance and customer feedback.
• Maintain accurate records related to staffing, inventory, sales, events, and store operations.
  
  

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 4 years of store management and team leadership experience, preferably within luxury fashion, women's apparel, resort wear, or a similar high-end retail environment.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong clienteling and CRM experience with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Experience managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action.
• Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, store operations, and loss prevention.
• Strong understanding of luxury customer service and the ability to deliver a highly personalized client experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience planning and executing events or client activations is highly preferred.
• Existing connections within the Palm Beach community are strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to the evolving needs of a growing brand.
  
  

Salary $90,000 with opportunity for 10-15k in bonus
