As the Sales Representative for Wholesale, you will be responsible for supporting sales growth through new and existing accounts. This role involves a combination of strategic lead generation, account management, sales analysis and product knowledge. As the Sales Representative for Wholesale, you will be responsible for supporting sales growth through new and existing accounts. This role involves a combination of strategic lead generation, account management, sales analysis and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have an interest home textiles and strong experience in relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of strategic sales plans that align with company goals, aiming to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing regular sales reporting to senior management.
- Support lead generation strategies to attract potential customers, nurturing these leads into long-term clients.
- Assist increasing the existing portfolio of business with current accounts through knowledge of product line (pricing, features, etc.), account needs, & company goals
- Identify and pursue qualified new accounts in key home markets metro areas
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve process efficiencies enabling scalable growth (e.g., B2B portal, digital catalogs, streamlined order management, new product launches, etc.)
- Work with Marketing team to develop relevant, scalable marketing materials to on-board, educate and prospect for new and existing accounts
- Initiate, coordinate and attend the brands sales events in conjunction with the Marketing team
- Travel up to 40% of the year to open new accounts strengthen relationships with current accounts
- Provide product and client feedback to Product Development and Merchandising teams
- Proven track record of growing revenue and managing sales forecasting plans.
- Detail-oriented and goal-focused with excellent time management skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to learn and utilize new software applications as needed.
- Minimum 5-7 years sales experience, preferably in home goods
- Eagerness to leverage the brands mission, values and heritage to differentiate the brand from competitors
