Job Title: Production Manager
With over 40 years in business, a leading importer and distributor of apparel in the United States is looking for a production manager. Our production department manages every stage of the process for our lingerie, sleepwear, and kids’ collections—from product development through bulk production and final delivery. The team works closely with design, art, sales, and logistics to ensure exceptional quality standards and on-time delivery of merchandise.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with preferably 5 years of apparel industry experience, highly detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The production manager will own the full product lifecycle from initial design concept through final bulk production. Candidate needs to be a cross functional collaborator with experience building relationships across multiple departments and within own internal department. Possess excellent organizational skills and strict attention to details, while prioritizing demands and multitask effectively. Have knowledge of Microsoft office applications Outlook/Excel/Word, Adobe office applications, and have knowledge or learn quickly the companies BlueCherry PLM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities of Production Manager include but are not limited to the following:
- Communicate daily with overseas factories to ensure production orders are being manufactured according to schedule, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate, create, modify, and distribute purchase orders independently and in collaboration with the team to balance workload and meet production timelines
- Communicate production priorities and updates across cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and operations
- Track, organize, and manage marketing materials related to production and launches
- Review, process, and communicate comments and approvals on artwork and packaging submitted by factories
- Lead the team in making critical decisions related to garments, packaging, materials, and production execution
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all production documentation and approvals
- Identify and resolve production issues proactively to minimize delays and disruptions
- Placing orders and evaluating inventory of all IT supplies and other office related supplies
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
