Key Responsibilities
Licensor Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for a broad range of licensors across multiple categories.
- Build strong relationships with brand partners, agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent communication and proactive management of licensor needs, timelines, and expectations.
- Support business reviews, status updates, and partnership meetings.
- Manage licensed programs from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with contractual rights and brand guidelines.
- Coordinate artwork, packaging, product, and marketing approvals with licensors.
- Track approval calendars, submissions, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor contract terms including territories, categories, royalty structures, and renewal dates.
- Partner with sales, product development, design, sourcing, legal, and marketing teams to execute licensed product launches.
- Ensure internal teams understand brand standards, approval processes, and key milestones.
- Help resolve issues quickly across internal and external partners.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing licensing partnerships.
- Assist in evaluating new licensing opportunities across categories and retail channels.
- Support forecasting, royalty reporting, and overall business performance tracking.
- Contribute to annual planning and brand portfolio strategy.
- Maintain organized licensing records, agreements, approvals, and key contacts.
- Improve internal workflows to streamline approvals and communication.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and brand requirements.
- 4 years of experience in licensing, brand management, consumer products, or account management.
- Experience working with multiple licensors and managing several brands simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of licensing agreements, approvals processes, and royalty structures.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business systems.
