Job Title: Hosiery Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Hosiery Designer to join our team and help drive the design and development of seasonal hosiery collections across women’s and men’s licensed and private label brands. This role will work closely with the Design Director and cross-functional partners to execute trend-right, commercially relevant product while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop seasonal hosiery collections for ladies’ and men’s licensed and private label brands, partnering closely with the Design Director from concept through development.
• Shop the local market to identify emerging trends, new concepts, and competitive product opportunities.
• Create seasonal trend, color, and concept boards to support collection development.
• Drive the development of packaging and giftable programs, ensuring consistency with brand direction.
• Partner cross-functionally with the sales team to develop product assortments tailored to key accounts and customer needs.
• Work closely with overseas offices and factory partners to source, develop, and execute product.
• Review samples, communicate updates, and help ensure development timelines are met.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of design experience in fashion, accessories, hosiery, or related categories.
• Socks/hosiery experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience working with off-price and mass retail accounts is a plus.
• Strong understanding of trend research, color, print/pattern, and product development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• NY Metro Based - Hybrid role in office 3-4 times/week
