Graphic Designer

seeking a Graphic Designer with a strong focus in website merchandising to join our e-commerce and creative team. This role is really focused on the visual merchandising of our Shopify website — retouching and preparing product and campaign imagery, and curating and laying out images so that collections, product detail pages, and campaign moments look elevated, cohesive, and on-brand. The ideal candidate has Shopify merchandising experience, very strong Photoshop retouching skills, and a sharp eye for selecting and arranging imagery.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and maintain the website storefront, ensuring imagery is current, accurate, and visually consistent with collection and brand standards.
• Perform both light and heavy retouching in Photoshop on product photography, including color correction, skin and garment retouching, background cleanup, shadow work, and image compositing.
• Select, crop, and sequence images from photoshoots to determine which shots best represent the product and perform well within the specific dimensions and flow of the website layout.
• Prepare and export web-optimized image assets that meet Shopify's size, resolution, and file-format specifications for fast load times without sacrificing quality.
• Partner with the ecommerce and graphics teams to plan visual merchandising for new drops, seasonal collections, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain a consistent visual language across the site by following and helping evolve brand guides.
• Organize and archive digital assets for efficient retrieval and reuse across the site and other marketing channels.
• Stay current on ecommerce merchandising trends and Shopify platform updates, apps, and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of graphic design experience, with a focus on e-commerce, retail, or fashion merchandising.
• Experience merchandising a website on Shopify (theme editor, collections, image specs, apps) is required.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, demonstrated ability to perform heavy retouching on product and fashion imagery.
• Strong eye for selecting, cropping, and arranging images so they read well and feel intentional within a web layout.
• Understanding of web image best practices (resolution, file formats, load-time optimization, responsive/mobile considerations).
• Excellent attention to detail, color accuracy, and consistency across a large volume of assets.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced fashion environment.
