You will manage key existing accounts while also identifying and securing new retail partners. With strong in-house capabilities in stock programs and product development, this role offers the opportunity to influence product direction and develop custom assortments tailored to your accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of existing house accounts, including:
- TJX (all divisions/countries)
- Ross
- Burlington
- Nordstrom Rack
- Bealls
- Manage and expand any additional active accounts assigned
- Drive new business development, targeting accounts such as:
- Von Maur, Dillard’s, Buckle, Altar’d State, Boscov’s, Fashion Nova, Scheels
- Present and sell the brands Juniors product line, including both stock and development programs
- Partner with internal teams to develop custom product assortments and new cuts for key accounts
- Build strong relationships with buyers and merchants to maximize sell-through and repeat business
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Manage the full sales cycle from concept to delivery
- 5–8 years of experience as a salesperson/account executive in apparel (not in an assistant role)
- Proven track record of independently managing and growing accounts
- Strong experience selling into off-price retailers (e.g., TJX, Ross, Burlington)
- Deep understanding of retail buying cycles and merchandising strategies
- Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of a business segment
- Experience selling to full-price / specialty retailers (e.g., Buckle, Altar’d State, Dillard’s, Von Maur)
- Existing relationships with key buyers in target accounts
- Experience in juniors apparel or denim categories
