Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Business Analyst with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and Lean Six Sigma certification (mandatory).
This role focuses on analyzing current business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and driving process and technology improvements across the organization. The candidate will work closely with business units, IT teams, and operations to support ongoing initiatives and deliver process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Conduct current state assessments to evaluate business processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed process documentation, SOPs, and workflow diagrams
- Analyze business, systems, and operational data to recommend process enhancements
Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between Operations, Business Units, IT, and other stakeholders
- Communicate proposed solutions and ensure alignment across teams
- Provide mentorship and support within the team
Project Execution & Delivery
- Participate in project lifecycle activities including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Assist in defining project scope, business cases, and implementation strategies
- Support UAT planning, execution, and release coordination
- Track project progress using project management tools
Process Optimization & Monitoring
- Perform process audits and evaluate effectiveness of implemented changes
- Monitor KPIs and continuously improve operational performance
- Support adoption of new processes through training and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Certification – Mandatory
- 5 years of experience in Business Analysis / Operations Analysis
- Strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
- Expertise in process mapping & modeling techniques
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Experience working on process improvement and transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management & Change Management
- Knowledge of data analytics / visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Exposure to process automation or digital transformation initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
