What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Administrator position at Savoy Companies?
Are you the kind of person who walks into a room and makes it better? Keep reading.
Savoy Companies is a Texas-based real estate platform. We own apartments, we manage apartments (about 8,000 units and counting), and we build what we own. Our corporate office in Dallas is the nerve center for all of it — and the front desk is the beating heart of that office.
We're looking for a Front Desk Administrator who is warm, quick on their feet, and genuinely enjoys being the person everyone relies on. This is not a sit-and-wait role. This is a be-the-engine role.
A day in this job looks like this:
- You greet every guest, vendor, and candidate like they're the most important person to walk through our door that day — because to them, they are.
- You answer the phones with energy and route calls with precision. When a resident calls in frustrated, you're the calm, friendly voice that makes them feel heard before you hand them to the right person.
- You sort the mail, keep the kitchen stocked, and make sure the office runs like a well-oiled machine. If the coffee is low, you noticed it before anyone else did.
- You're the go-to for a dozen leaders asking for a dozen different things — a notarized doc, a lunch order, a courier pickup, a conference room reset — and you knock each one down without breaking a sweat.
- You handle the stuff nobody sees: expense reports, calendar holds, expense receipts, supply ordering, vendor check-ins, office errands.
- You're the glue. You make people laugh. You remember birthdays. You notice when the printer is acting up before anyone files a ticket.
You are a great fit if:
- You're naturally outgoing — small talk with a stranger is easy, and you mean it.
- You're obsessive about details — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- You can juggle five things at once and still smile at the sixth person who walks up to your desk.
- You take ownership. "Not my job" is not a phrase in your vocabulary.
- You have a service mindset — you actually like helping people solve problems.
- You're reliable. You show up early, you stay focused, and people can count on you.
- You're tech-comfortable: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, phones, basic troubleshooting.
Bonus points if you have:
- 2 years in a front desk, receptionist, executive assistant, hospitality, or high-volume customer service role
- Experience in multifamily, property management, real estate, or construction
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Notary commission (or willingness to get one — we'll pay for it)
Why Savoy?
- You'll be seen. This is not a cubicle. You are the first person every CEO, leader, resident, and vendor interacts with. Your work matters every single day.
- We grow our people. Our front desk is a launchpad. The right person in this seat has a clear path into HR, marketing, accounting, or property operations if that's where their ambition takes them.
- Real benefits. Full medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Paid time off. Paid holidays. We actually use them.
- A team that likes each other. We work hard. We laugh a lot. We celebrate wins together. You will not dread Mondays here.
- Stability plus growth. We're a Texas-grown, privately held platform that's been expanding for years. We're not a startup burning cash and we're not a corporate giant where you're a number. We're the best of both.
The logistics:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-office at our Dallas corporate headquarters (this is not a remote role — the front desk is the front desk)
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Start date: ASAP
