Safety Manager

SAVI EHS is partnering with a growing landscaping construction and maintenance company to identify a bilingual Safety Manager to lead field safety initiatives throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area.

The Safety Manager will work closely with operations and field leadership to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support multiple landscaping construction and maintenance crews. Responsibilities
- Manage the company's day-to-day safety program across multiple project sites.
- Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Deliver new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training in both English and Spanish.
- Partner with field supervisors to identify hazards, develop corrective actions, and improve overall safety performance.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Track safety metrics, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
- Assist with the development and implementation of company safety policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary safety resource for field employees and management.
- Promote a positive, proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Support additional safety initiatives and compliance projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or field safety experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
- Experience in landscaping, construction, utilities, or similar outdoor operations preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with field and office personnel.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
- Ability to travel locally throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- BCSP certification (CHST, STS-C, ASP, or CSP) or willingness to pursue professional certification.
- Experience conducting employee safety training and incident investigations.
- Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations.
