Area Superintendent

Location: Port Canaveral, FL

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually (compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Area Superintendent to join our construction team in Port Canaveral, FL. This individual will work directly under the Senior Project Superintendent and play a key role in overseeing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and/or industrial construction and a proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors in an active construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Project Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities.
• Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Monitor project schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
• Enforce site safety requirements and company policies.
• Maintain communication with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep the project on track.
• Ensure compliance with all security, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial and/or industrial construction.
• Proven experience supervising and coordinating numerous subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
• Participation in the company’s random drug screening program.
