Call Center Representative

Lifekind Health is looking for a full-time Call Center Representative to provide excellent customer service answering inbound calls and responding to questions about Lifekind services.

About the position:

• Answer inbound patient calls, responding to medical concerns and questions
• Provide accurate information on medications, treatments, and healthcare services
• Document patient interactions in electronic health records (EHRs)
• Triage urgent patient concerns, escalating to healthcare providers as needed
• Schedule appointments and follow-up care
• Educate patients on self-care and disease management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure continuity of care

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma required;Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) preferred
• 2 years experiencein healthcare, preferably in patient care
• Experience in call center or customer servicepreferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to empathize with patients and families
• Proficiency inElectronic Health Records (EHRs e.g., Epic, Cerner)
• Good organizational skills required
• Bilingual or multilingual skillsa plus
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher
