Experienced veterinary assistant/technician

As an integral part of our clinic, you’ll work closely with our veterinarians to provide top-notch care to our furry patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Handling and restraining animals to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Administering medications and treatments as directed.
• Preparing and maintaining examination rooms and equipment for use.
• Collecting and preparing laboratory samples for testing.
• Performing routine laboratory tests and procedures.
• Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
• Providing post-operative care and monitoring for animals.
• Educating pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration.

Your role will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and the well-being of the animals we treat.

We’re searching for someone who brings both experience and enthusiasm to the table. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience working with animals in a veterinary or similar setting.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques.
• A basic understanding of veterinary medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

While not required, additional skills in dog training or pet grooming may be considered a plus.
