The Senior Prime Contract manager oversees contract lifecycle management of a $24B Department of Energy Management & Operations (M&O) prime contract, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), customer directives, management and contractual obligations. They lead teams responsible for negotiation, contract administration, award fee plans, risk assessment, and performance monitoring of the contracts and agreements. These managers collaborate with executive leadership, Legal, Finance, and operational teams to develop contracting strategies that support mission objectives while optimizing cost, schedule, and compliance outcomes. They are accountable for contract modifications, dispute resolution, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring transparency and alignment with government and corporate expectations. Responsible for day to day interaction with Federal Contracting Officers.
