Job Family Description
Contracts roles are responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors and partners while ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. They collaborate with internal teams to finalize contract terms, identify risks, and monitor contract performance, and collaborate with general counsel as appropriate.
Discipline Description
Prime Contract Administrators review and evaluate Prime contract terms (both full text and referenced government regulations, orders, etc.) for applicability and company compliance. They evaluate contract compliance, advise on contractual rights and obligations, and document and administer contract requirements/deliverables. They ensure contractual obligations and authorized work scope are communicated and provide allowability determinations where applicable. They request or approve amendments to contract terms or contract extensions, and they service as the focal point for company communications with the Contracting Officer with respect to verbal and formal contractual communications. Prime contract administrators prepare for and lead negotiation opportunities with the government where applicable through contract interpretation, fairness and reasonableness reviews, and price analysis.
