Sault Vision Clinic P.C. is seeking a strong, experienced Office Manager / Office Lead to take ownership of daily operations and lead our team with accountability, structure, and professionalism. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards, and supporting a positive, productive workplace culture.
We are looking for someone who is organized, decisive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage both people and processes effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Oversee all daily office operations, including front desk workflow, scheduling, and patient flow
- Lead, supervise, and develop staff to ensure accountability, performance, and team cohesion
- Ensure accurate handling, documentation, and reconciliation of patient payments and financial transactions
- Maintain organized, compliant patient records and administrative systems
- Coordinate communication between providers, staff, and patients to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical process improvements
- Support onboarding, training, and employee development
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee ordering of supplies, equipment, and services
- Assist with financial oversight by monitoring expenses and reviewing reports
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, internal policies, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
- Experience managing front desk operations, scheduling systems, and administrative workflows
- Ability to train, support, and hold team members accountable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems)
- Understanding of compliance standards (HIPAA) or ability to quickly learn
