Role: Test Lead
Location: Onsite(St Louis) /Offshore (B1 ready)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Test Lead who will be responsible for defining and driving the overall testing strategy for our modernization programs. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality deliverables through effective test planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define a clear and robust testing strategy aligned with project goals and technical architecture.
- Establish comprehensive test coverage across all functional and non-functional areas.
- Ensure acceptance criteria are clearly defined, finalized, and signed off with the client.
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of test cases for applications built on the .NET/Angular technology stack.
- Manage end-to-end testing activities, including system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Identify risks and issues related to testing and provide mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide the testing team to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 6 years) in software testing, with at least 2 years in a Test Lead or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of modernization programs and testing strategies for legacy-to-modern technology transitions.
- Hands-on experience with .NET and Angular applications.
- Proficiency in test management tools (Jira).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
Salary : $60 - $65
