Seeking a Mainframe Production Support Analyst with strong experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and batch processing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on production support experience, scheduling expertise (Autosys/OPC), and a solid background in incident, problem, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in Mainframe Production support.
- Experience in a batch mainframe environment.
- COBOL, JCL, VSAM,DB2 , scheduling experience β Autosys
- Hands on experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, File-aid, GDG. DB2
- Extensive experience in a batch mainframe environment.
- Experience working in a mainframe TSO ISPF environment.
- Experience with mainframe scheduling software, like OPC.
- Experience using Endeavor change management software.
- Hands on experience with Easytrieve.
- ITIL/ITSM Tools, Incidents, Change Management, Problem Investigation
- Proven technical skills necessary to learn the mainframe batch quickly environment and assume the role and independently support assigned application.
- Basic knowledge on Confluence, Unix, OPC scheduling tool, SQL, NDM (connect direct) file transfer protocol, GFT/FTP
- Candidate should have exp on working on support projects and should be willing to work on support activities/Tickets
- For onsite ,this role involves working on general shift (7 AM to 4 PM CST) and associate should be ready to perform on call support on weekend ( as per P1/P2 tickets demand)
- Good communication skill as this role involves customer engagement.
Additional Requirements:
- Preferred work authorization: USC, Green Card, or visa holders not requiring amendment.
- Must be willing to relocate to or travel to St. Louis, MO as required by the project.
