o9 IBP Configuration Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced o9 IBP Configuration Consultant to design, configure, test, and optimize Integrated Business Planning solutions on the o9 platform. The role requires hands-on expertise in planning models, workflows, user interfaces, procedures, reports, alerts, and solver-related configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure o9 IBP solutions in line with approved functional designs and enterprise standards.
• Build and maintain planning models, hierarchies, measures, calculations, business rules, and planning views.
• Configure workflows, procedures, action buttons, alerts, approvals, dashboards, reports, and role-based user experiences.
• Develop configuration for demand, supply, inventory, capacity, scenario planning, and S&OP/IBP use cases.
• Work with functional consultants to refine user stories, validate acceptance criteria, and confirm configuration feasibility.
• Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and integration teams on data mappings, interfaces, and end-to-end processing.
• Perform unit testing, configuration validation, defect analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize calculations, procedures, workflows, reports, and solver execution.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and production stabilization.
• Maintain configuration workbooks, technical specifications, traceability, release notes, and deployment documentation.
• Apply development standards, peer-review controls, version management, and reusable configuration patterns; mentor consultants and resolve complex production issues.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 9 years in supply chain solutions, enterprise planning, product configuration, or related technology roles.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring o9 Solutions.
• Experience with planning configuration, workflow modeling, UI design, action buttons, procedures, reports, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and S&OP/IBP planning processes.
• Experience supporting testing, deployment, defect resolution, and production support.
• Strong analytical, debugging, documentation, communication, and team-leadership skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL, Python, data engineering, APIs, cloud data platforms, or enterprise integration technologies.
• Exposure to SAP IBP/APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder/JDA, Oracle SCM, or similar planning platforms.
• o9 certification and large-scale or multi-region implementation experience.
• Experience managing configuration teams and collaborating with Client Success or application-support organizations.
