Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, wine, food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with various POS systems. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Provide guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
• Support sanitation and food handling procedures to uphold health standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a server in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively through sales techniques
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Previous experience in hospitality environments such as nightclubs or casual dining is a plus
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, serving etiquette, and guest relations
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
