Duties
- Responsible for washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and setup when necessary
- Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed according to health regulations
- Help with general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with catering and banquet setups as required
- Support the kitchen staff with food service tasks including serving and light food prep when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or culinary tasks is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward hospitality service
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
