Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook/Dishwasher. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, and measuring ingredients - Assist with food preparation tasks, such as seasoning and marinating meats, chopping herbs, and preparing sauces - Cook menu items according to recipes or as directed by the chef - Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area - Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using manual or automated methods - Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Experience: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred - Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils - Ability to follow recipes accurately - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills Please note that this is a paid position.
