Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize biochemical and sequencing assays
- Execute experiments to evaluate enzyme activity and sequencing performance
- Perform nucleic acid handling, library prep, and assay workflows
- Analyze experimental data and report results clearly
- Support high-throughput assay workflows
- Maintain lab organization and documentation
- Collaborate closely with protein engineering and computational teams
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on molecular biology and biochemistry skills
- Experience with DNA/RNA handling and enzymatic assays
- Familiarity with sequencing workflows (NGS or long-read preferred)
- Experience with assay optimization and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and data quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Education & Industry Experience
- B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- 4 years of industry experience
- Experience in genomics or biotech strongly preferred

California Pay Transparency Statement.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $72,000 – $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skill set, and internal equity considerations.
