Cook - Full-Time & Part-Time | Small Assisted Living
Sarawood Assisted Living is seeking a dependable Cook to join our team.
Sarawood is a privately owned, 28-resident assisted living community in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Our small size gives our kitchen team the opportunity to get to know residents personally and prepare meals in a more home-like setting.
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve daily meals for residents
- Follow established menus and resident dietary needs
- Assist with meal prep, cooking, plating, and service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and other staff
- Help create a positive dining experience for residents
What We Are Looking For
- Prior cooking or food-service experience
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Friendly and respectful approach with residents
- Senior living or healthcare food-service experience is a plus
Schedule
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Some weekend availability is expected.
