CNA Evening Shift 3 PM to 11 PM
Sarawood Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate CNA to join our evening team.
Sarawood is a privately owned, 28-resident assisted living community in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Our smaller size allows staff to know our residents personally and provide attentive, individualized care in a home-like environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a smaller setting where relationships with residents and coworkers matter.
Schedule
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
- Support residents during dinner and evening routines
- Respond promptly to resident needs and call systems
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers within our assisted living scope
- Provide medication assistance according to Sarawood policies and training
- Assist residents as they prepare for bed
- Complete resident checks and required documentation
- Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Work closely with other team members to provide consistent resident care
- Encourage resident independence while providing respectful support when needed
What We Are Looking For
- Current CNA certification
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and respectful approach to senior care
- Ability to remain organized during a busy evening shift
- Prior assisted living or senior care experience preferred
