What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table Games Manager position at Saratoga Harness Racing, Inc.?
Nestled in the Rocky Mountains at 8,058 ft above sea level is the city of Black Hawk, Colorado. Known in the mid 1800’s for its ample supply of lode gold, this town once heavy with mines, is now home to Colorado’s premier gaming district. At the top of the city is Saratoga Casino- Black Hawk hosting 365 slot machines, a variety of favorite table games, dining and gift shop. Saratoga Casino Black Hawk is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC.
We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Black Hawk with the best guest service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a TABLE GAMES MANAGER. This position will report directly to the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, and will be responsible for:
- Supervise all casino table games operations and make sure all gaming rules, state laws and federal regulations are followed appropriately
- Manage the table games staff including recruitment and onboarding procedures as well as assess each employee’s ability to deliver pleasant service to customers.
- Review suspicious customer behavior, identify instances of card counting, cheating or marking and notify the authorities when needed
- Record large cash and credit transactions in the table games pit when required by federal or local laws, and complete the appropriate paperwork
- Walk the table games pit, be visible to the table games staff throughout the shift and welcome customers to the facility on a continuous basis
- Schedule staff members on the table games section of the floor and make adjustments during the shift if business dictates it
- Protect the house and the security of money and chips.
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Using general mathematical skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Performs payroll including tips
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Must be able to obtain a Colorado Gaming License.
- Thorough understanding of Colorado gaming regulations and Title 31 compliance.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong integrity and responsibility when managing financial transactions and sensitive information.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and maneuvering around the floor during shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications related to casino operations, Title 31 compliance, or customer service is advantageous.
- Prior experience in table games, supervisory roles and customer service.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay for this position ranges from: $63,000.00-$68,000.00 Annually

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Colorado Gaming License. Initial licensing and renewal costs are covered by Saratoga Holdings, LLC. Travel to Denver, CO may be mandatory for this licensing process.
