We are looking for a Cage Shift Supervisor to assist in overseeing the daily operation of our Casino Cage Department. This position will be a key role in ensuring gaming regulations are upheld with relation to guest payments of winnings.
Essential Functions:
- Act as operational authority in the absence of the Director.
- Supervise all cage activity during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality guest service
- Oversee Main Bank, Cage Cashiers, and transactional operations on shift.
- Approve fills, credits, large transactions, exceptions, and system overrides.
- Ensure compliance with PGCB requirements, Title 31, anti-fraud safeguards, and internal controls.
- Resolve guest issues, variances, procedural concerns, and system discrepancies.
- Supervise daily reconciliation, shift balancing, and reporting.
- Train, coach, and evaluate cage team members.
- Conduct shift audits and escalate issues to Director as required.
- Maintains a high level of integrity.
- Provide leadership through example to all team members.
- Effectively communicate with customers, coworkers and staff.
- Analyze and interpret departmental needs.
- Provide resolution to complex problems and make proper decisions.
- Must be able to distinguish between colors
- Maintain knowledge of various cage policies and procedures, and companywide standard policies as they relate to the job.
- Provide coverage in all service areas such as front window, marker bank, Chip Bank, and Main Bank if called upon.
Keys To Success:
Qualified supervisors will possess a high level of integrity and be able to work independently as well as part of team. This role will require strong reading comprehension skills for understanding tax requirements, gaming laws and regulations as well as the ability to multitask.
- Four (4) year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred. Equivalent casino experience of two (2) years supervising a Cage, Slots, Sportsbook or Table Games is acceptable.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Must have excelled in previous customer service roles.
- Must possess
A four (4) year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience in a casino environment in either casino Cage, Slot, Sportsbook or Table Games areas acceptable.
A minimum of two (2) years of Supervisor experience in casino cage, credit, or count operations preferred. Four (4) years cashier or banking leadership experience acceptable. Previous casino or other fast paced high-volume environment preferred. Previous customer service experience, Previous leadership and or training experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
