We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Shift Supervisor to support daily front-of-house operations. This hands-on leadership role helps coordinate service, supervise employees, maintain accurate shift records, and ensure guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced environment, and willing to step into other service positions as operational needs require.
This position will report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and will be responsible for:
- Assisting with opening and closing responsibilities for the assigned work area.
- Ensuring accurate recordkeeping, including balancing cashiering stations at the beginning or end of the shift.
- Assisting with the training of staff.
- Setting floor plans for the day.
- Ensuring the highest level of customer service in accordance with established quality standards.
- Adhering to established Food and Beverage policies and procedures.
- Relaying all guest compliments and complaints to the Food and Beverage Director.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all front-of-house areas.
- Providing direct supervision of employees during assigned shifts.
- Filling in for and performing other staff positions as needed.
- Promoting outstanding customer service.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Previous food and beverage or hospitality experience; prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
- The ability to maintain accurate records and balance cashiering stations.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Cost of license is covered by Happy Valley Casino.
