Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for a positive dining experience by providing a warm welcome and exceptional service. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality are essential to succeed in this position.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a brief overview of the restaurant’s menu, specials, and dining experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring menus, signage, and promotional materials are current and neatly presented
Answer phone calls professionally, offering accurate information about the restaurant and efficiently managing reservations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming and positive dining experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.
