Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for a positive dining experience by providing a warm welcome and exceptional service. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities section:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a brief overview of the restaurant’s menu, specials, and dining experience.
- Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring menus, signage, and promotional materials are current and neatly presented.
- Answer phone calls professionally, offering accurate information about the restaurant and efficiently managing reservations.
- Coordinate guest flow and support the waitstaff to ensure a smooth service and a positive dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming and positive dining experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
