Test Lab Engineer

Test Lab Engineer ($30 – 40 p/hr))

We are seeking a Test Lab Engineer to work for an established high-technology Manufacturer East of Syracuse, NY. This is a 1st shift opportunity.

This role combines both project coordination and hands on engineering testing within a fast-paced engineering lab environment.

Key duties include:

• Review and define testing scope and requirements.
• Perform environmental testing including: thermal shock, temperature cycling, climatic chamber, magnetic, and electrical validation testing.
• Prepare test plans, technical documentation, validation reports, and communicate results to development teams and customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and test equipment using multimeters, power supplies, and related instrumentation.

Education and Experience:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• An AAS degree will also be considered with years of relatable experience.
• 1-3 years of experience (Co-op, Internship, considered as well) supporting validation, environmental, electrical, or product testing activities within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and performing measurements using DMM, oscilloscope, power supply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
