Healthcare Business Development Representative
Location: Newburgh, NY
Base Salary: $65,000–$80,000
Additional Commission Potential: $50,000–$75,000
Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a motivated Healthcare Business Development Representative for an opportunity in Newburgh, NY. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being out in the community, meeting new people, and building strong referral relationships.
In this position, you will help grow awareness of the organization’s services by connecting with physicians, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other referral partners throughout the region. The right person will be outgoing, professional, persistent, and comfortable developing relationships that lead to long-term business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, referral sources, and community partners
- Attend networking events, community functions, and industry meetings
- Develop new referral partnerships and business opportunities
- Promote services throughout the local market
- Stay in regular contact with referral sources and strategic partners
- Increase overall visibility and awareness in the community
- Represent the organization professionally at meetings, events, and partner visits
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in outside sales, healthcare sales, business development, community outreach, or a related role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A self-motivated, outgoing personality
- Professional presence and strong presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage local travel
- Comfort building trust with physicians, providers, and community contacts
- A proactive approach to networking, follow-up, and relationship development
