$20-$21.50/HR DOE
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day Shift 6 AM - 6PM, or Night Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM)
Alternating Schedule: 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
- Includes weekends, holidays, and overtime as scheduled
Position Overview:
Join a biologics manufacturing team in an entry-level role with hands-on training. This is not a lab position but involves working in a clean, classified environment with required gowning and PPE. Candidates must be comfortable working with large-scale equipment, handling hazardous materials, and performing physically active tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and clean process equipment (valves, hoses, clamps, piping, etc.)
- Prepare buffers, media, and reagents up to 2000L
- Monitor process parameters and report abnormalities
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards
- Sustain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols when handling caustic, acid, and steam materials
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written instructions, verify data, and perform basic math calculations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with computers and web-based applications
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of general chemistry, microbiology, or cleanroom operations
- Prior manufacturing or cGMP experience
