Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu standards
- Cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing kitchen surfaces
- Support kitchen staff with food handling, portioning, and plating to ensure efficient service flow
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper hygiene practices during food preparation and service
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting fellow staff members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food handling, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
