EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to:
- Education: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency.
- Experience: Six months experience working with at-risk or gang affiliated youth is preferable. College
coursework in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Juvenile Justice or related discipline
is preferable. Some positions may require bilingual verbal, written, and translation skills.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:- A valid Class C California Driver's License with a driving record that meets the insurance requirements of the County Office of Education
- Acquire and maintain current certification in Basic First Aid and CPR within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to complete training requirements as designated by the Santa Clara County Office of Education within 30 days after being hired (or within a time frame deemed acceptable by the Santa Clara County Office of Education).

The Educational Services Division is now accepting applications for Campus Monitor/Youth Advocate.
Under the supervision of the site administrator ensures school safety, by supporting a positive school climate, monitoring the school campus and adjacent property to ensure school security and pupil safety while classes and activities are being conducted; to assist in assuring the observance of rules, regulations and procedures by students and others; to supervise pupils on campus and at school activities; and to perform related duties as assigned.
This position is full-time, in-person and has a work year of 11 months/193 days/8 hour per day position.

- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for TBD.
- Second interviews may be held in-person.
