What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Paraeducator - Alternative Education position at Santa Clara County Office Of Education?
The Substitute Paraeducator - Alternative Education assists classroom teacher(s) in the instruction, supervision, and training of individual or groups of students
involved in Juvenile Court School Programs and to perform a variety of related duties in the maintenance of an effective learning environment for students. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination equivalent to:
Education: Candidates must meet one of the three Options:
Option 1: Possession of a high school diploma or its GED equivalent
Option 2: Completion at least 48 college semester units earned at an accredited institution of higher learning
Option 3: Possession of a degree earned at an accredited institution of higher learning

Experience: One year of paid or volunteer experience working with at-risk youth in an educational setting preferred.
